After a really great conversation with the “Diva of Do!” – my friend Cathy Paper, I am chomping at the bit to get this going again. She’s one of the founders of the energy behind Live Dynamite.
The quest I am on is to write my book. And achieve another goal I set out to accomplish. Here it is as written on my card: To have my book published and distributed nation wide by March 2008 – or better.
Writing it’s the first part. Guess I can give myself “credit” for that as this is the first of a series of posts dedicated to accomplish this very goal.
Here it goes – whaddyathink? I am committing to writing 3 posts a week. This is what I need to do to be on track for taking another victory lap come March.
Why am I writing this book?
Well, to be honest, I’ve always been trying to find ways to live life with more vigor and zest. Over the last three years I came across some very unique opportunities – opportunities that not only opened my eyes to the reality of what’s possible but thrust me into a position to live with passion and purpose. This Point of Passion ™ wasn’t always a comforting time. At best, it was work. I may sound like I’m whining a bit here, but in all honesty I believe I’m being realistic. You don’t want some book filled with nothing but rose petals, do you? If you do, this book isn’t for you.
If what you want is to be able to read and learn how every day experiences – if you’re open to them – can teach us what we need to know to enter the Point of Passion then this book (or blog) is for you. Or, if what you want is to be challenged – maybe even shoved at times – to truly discover your own Points of Passion, then I think you’ll enjoy the entries that follow. Every couple of days you’ll glimpse into some stories and have a chance to grab some takeaways to apply to your life.
But why enter the Point of Passion if it’s going to be work? Because the joys and rewards that you will experience will be worth it. You will start living your life with more passion, guts and glory. In the end experiencing a series of wow-ful and wow-filled moments.
